DNTS resumes the Donation Meal Initiative
In 2018, DENSO Thermal Systems (DNTS) launched an important initiative called the “Donation Meals” as part of the company’s Social Responsibility Policies. This initiative was done in collaboration with the “Giovanni Gallo” Association of Carmagnola. However, the enforcement of strict COVID-19 measures by the Italian government has forced the organization to temporarily stop its social initiatives.
With the easing up of COVID-19 measures, DNTS has resumed its “Donation Meals” initiative this year. The meals will be prepared from our canteen and will be delivered to the charity where the meals will be distributed, especially to those people who are in most need.
DNTS’ “Donation Meals” initiative recommences
The initiative restarted since the 24th of November 2022. The donations consist of complete meals which are prepared and packed in one of our canteens.
The meals were delivered to a community center which is one of recipients of the initiative. It is a community center that provides support for women and children, single mothers and unaccompanied minors.
The Management of DNTS expresses that “Among the services provided by the Giovanni Gallo Association, there is also the provision of meals to the poor and people in social difficulty, and it is precisely in support of the latter that our project is addressed.”
DNTS has provided a strong support for this initiative and will continue to do so in the future. It is one of the important Social Responsibility projects of the company to give back to the society and support DENSO’s goal of good corporate citizenship.

Christmas at DNTS
Christmas Solidarity, Charity and Research Support without forgetting employees and with an eye for children
The DENSO Thermal Systems Christmas is a Christmas of Solidarity. Like every year, DNTS has decided to donate important contributions to support various local associations and scientific research this holiday season.
First of all, DNTS supports local Italian Red Cross with a generous contribution and support to their local activities.
The Italian headquarters of Thermal Systems also offers considerable support every year to various local associations that deal with cancer research and support for cancer patients.
DNTS has made contributions to the AIL Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. The company also made a significant donation to UGI – Union of Italian Parents against children’s cancer. It is an association at the pediatric hospital of Turin that offers support to parents of children suffering from cancer in the difficult path of treatment since 1980. Finally, a portion of the charitable contributions was donated to the fight against cancer at the Italian Institute for Cancer Research in Candiolo, the largest cancer research center in the Piedmont.
The attention of DNTS, however, is also directed to the support of research for rare diseases; for example, these days the company is making a donation to the Marco Pietrobono Onlus. It is an organization dedicated for research on the treatment of hereditary spastic paraparesis, a rare degenerative disease for which there is no therapy to date.
This year, the Management of DENSO THERMAL SYSTEMS distributed a Panettone – a typical Italian Christmas cake – to all its employees, collaborators and trainees to share on Christmas eve.
It is a company tradition that is being practiced for more than 30 years.
Furthermore, DNTS has always thought of the little ones. Every year, DNTS employees can choose a Christmas gift from the catalog that the company buys and then give it to all their children (from 0 to 10 years) so that they can celebrate Christmas with a new toy.
As part of the Social Responsibility policies, DNTS has always shown great sensitivity and attention towards those in need, especially those local people experiencing difficulties. Also, this year, the company has purchased toys and Christmas gifts for the children of families in difficult situation for the 2 charities in Turin and its province.
